The Negativey Bias - What Is It?

We have negative potency, meaning we feel negative stuff more than positives. We alo have teeper negative gradients as negative events get closer. And we also have negative dominance. If there is a mix of positives and negatives in an experience, the negatives will have a tendency to dominate the overall feeling - so the whole thing can kind of feel negative. Our final aspect is negative differentiation, which is about the effort it takes to process an event. Combined, these four forces work together to make it so we can really focus on negatives that contaminate everything else around them.
