Percussion is so global, you know. There's this like tapping stuff as a global language and it's something that's innate within any musical culture. And I think with Indigenous people in the Pacific, it's quite synonymous. So we wanted to retain that throughout. Count did an amazing job of retaining all this stuff and making it kind of stick out. It wasn't just in a wall of mush, a washy, maul of sound. Yeah, he fucking smashed the bass out of this.
