If there's going to be a direction of change, unfortunately it's probably in the direction of more cooperation. But if that does, we'll be in a very new and dangerous world because the US and EU will not take that lying down. Whatever punishment Western capitals decide to inflict on China for that sort of decision I think will be really severe. It puts us in a place where sort of more escalation and potentially conflict has a higher likelihood,. which is a really scary world to be.
