Housing for middle and lower income people is literally not possible to build unless you have tremendous amounts of subsidy or it's a very special circumstance that really can't be scaled. So this entire multifamily market sector seems to have shifted completely from being for people who maybe weren't able to afford to buy a home in the past to really a competitive option that high income earners are actually preferring.
