Conservationists Against Trophy Hunting and Animal Welfare
Many hunted animals do not die immediately, and are often wounded and in pain for considerable lengths of time. Cecil the lion may have been deliberately lured out of protected areas into areas where they can be hunted. And were the presence of competitors or or whatever might also cause them distress. The only good that can come out of this is that we can rase awareness and stop this from happening.
