The Importance of Trauma in the Modern World
I think it's a particularly powerful example of something that I'm trying to point out in the book in a more general sense, which is that mismatch or that point of conflict generates trauma. Anywhere that we have these points of conflict between what the body expects and what it actually receives, you have problems. 25% of Americans are living alone right now.
