Is There a Recession?
If inflation comes down to the four or five percent range and we do go into a recession, you could see the Fed react with lowering rates. There's another possibility: What happens if we have some kind of a credit crisis somewhere in the globe that creates problems in markets? I've been a little bit surprised that we haven't seen that already. But it's hard for me to believe that we've gone from global negative rates for a decade to very positive rates yet.
