What Is Philosophy?

The history of philosophy is a failure, what is philosophy? That's the question delos de lous was trying to answer in his book. He wanted to find out how we should be acting if we're human beings and then naturally fall in line with that divine order. The main point was that there's a level of transcendent order that overhangs all of this that needs to be discovered by philosophy. Later on in history, this question shifts from how one should act to how might one live?
