The Superposition Property of the Photon in the Wave Theory of Light
The photon is different from the randomized marble in the original game. Once it has gone through the first crystal once it has another one of its physical properties not the position or the path is perfectly definite. The property is that of being in that particular superposition of paths what's more there is another counterintuitive fact letting the photon through the second beam splitter and then measuring where it is is one way of measuring that other property.
