Young people trying to understand a broader liberal tradition, you know, outside of india, but still try and think about it in the context of india. What should they be reading? That's an interesting question. The most interesting liberals are ones that i think have also a deep sense of history. And if you are going to be genuiane liberal, you will have both. I'm not even sure mill applied to nineteent century england.
