Are There Limits to the Scalability of the Model?
In the United States, we don't have huge concentrations of people who are illiterate. So at least in the U.S., I don't see the physical geographic distribution as a problem. In terms of scale, it's no more difficult to have lots and lots of little schools than it is to have a fewer number of huge schools. Little schools are much easier to manage. And especially these kinds of schools are self-managed by definition. They're operated by the people who are involved with them. There also, I might say, there's a growing movement of African-Americans homeschooling.
