The Strugatsky Brothers - The Stalker Book Review
Strugatsky brothers wrote the book Roadside Picnic that became the basis of Stalker and also more recently Annihilation, like this set of films. They both talk about a very similar idea about space fairing communists living in a kind of post-capitalist, post-money world. It's actually weirdly like Russian communist science fiction. And my book is about taking seriously the dream of building a post scarcity machine in a way.
