The Role of the Conservator in the Art of Conservation

I really love considering fashion as a work of art versus, say, you know, other garments that maybe aren't valued as fashion are valued in different ways. But I'd love to talk about the storytelling aspect of what you do. Curators are intimately entangled with the objects under their care. And we are very cognizant about our own actions represent a moment in the object's life that may have a long lasting, potentially even life-altering impact.
