The book is a mixture of historical information with map reading and novels. The author wanted to tell a story that's accessful in understanding to people, she says. "I didn't want this to be an academic exercise," the writer adds.
Journalist and writer Dipo Faloyin's new book, Africa Is Not A Country, looks to challenge overly simplistic narratives for one of the most culturally diverse regions on Earth.
