Saint Philip Neary's Influence on the Reformation of Florence
Savanarola was a reforming figure in Florence. He invited everyone to shed the decadence of the Renaissance and just burn it. And then Saint Philip Neary becomes very much known as a reforming saint, but he goes about it in a very different way. Benedict would be the next one. There was this monastic spirit even though he was never a monk or lived in a community.
