George Grider's Memoir of a Man Who Changed Overnight
O'Kane was under the command of Pinky Kennedy, as exo of Wahoo. They said that he literally made a change overnight into the kind of man that he was to actually become. George Grider later became a successful submarine skipper in his own right. He called O'Kane a petulant child who would pull rank all the time on junior officers.
