Kate Bush's the Dreaming
Hounds of love is probably bush's best known record. She was clearly being influenced by a lot of her contemporaries, even while also influencing a lot of the sounds that we think of as sort of new wave, mid 19 eightys pop. The title track the dreaming is this psychodelic experience where she is doing all kinds of different voices and emphasizing different accents. It's extremely cool.
