What Do You Say to Your Ears?
The spiritually alive person, the person that has been born again in Christ, all of a sudden feels like they can see for the very first time in their life. And this is what Jesus is talking about in this passage of scripture. In Matthew 13, 17, Jesus says, but for truly I say to you, many prophets and righteous people have longed to see what you see and did not see it and to hear what you hear and did not hear it. This is why I speak to them in parables because seeing they do not see and hearing they do not hear nor do they understand.
