How I Moved to Facebook to Accelerate Adoption in Asia
After three or so years of working at Google and helping launch the scale, what was phase one and phase two of Android, I was sent to Japan. Tokyo is one of my favorite places in the world. And they made some amazing friends there. But also there was an interesting opportunity because I spent some time with my future co-founder there. A gentleman called Pankar Dreesput, who was based in Bangalore, India as a part of my travels and business development in Asia. When I came back and visited with California headquarters, I realized that the Android team, which when I joined with 25 people, was more than 1,500 people. And we had very little patience.
