The Different Vehicle Dynamics of a Go Cart
Go carts have 15 18 degrees of caster and, well, in your example, take a go cart put it on the ground and turn the wheel to lock. And not and rocket. It becomes a three wheeler because the caster unloads that inside rear wheel. If you didn't have that much caster you'd never unload the inside rear wheel and it would understeer like crazy. There's still some similarities. Caster still does the kind of the same thing in a car as in a cart springs. You know, there's some spring rate to it, things like that.
