This week's episode is about the use of chokeholds by police. The court notes that the LAPD did in fact halt using chokeholds after George Floyd's death. But once the coast was clear, they started using them again for 40 years. If courts were empowered to move more quickly and act more proactively, you could see an end to this sort of cycle.
