The Cryptid of Sinestro

This cryptid is often referred to look like a gringo or a white person. In the 1970s and 80s there were multiple attacks on foreigners in the area who were blamed for things happening to the villages. The village believed those who had gotten sick were attacked by a car series accusing a foreign man as the driver. A mob kidnapped him tortured him and tried learning who he was working with. Family was persecuted ostracized and his young kids were beaten to the point of brain damage because they believed he was a catechity.
