"I felt very dejected by where, you know, where America was going. I didn't feel like this particular vehicle was going to be the way for me to address any of these things going forward," he says. "It's interesting because one of the things that comes up a lot on the show and it's like really been an evolving position in my life is that this idea that everything is political."
