I don't think hooters was designed to be feminist. It's still all about pleasure, pleasing men and making them feel important. That is what a cheerleader is. But also I was 18, 19, 20 years old, still learning about my place in the world. What my role was how I could be happiest and most effective as a young woman growing up watching Britney Spears. We had an excellent discussion about language around women and the otter swearing.
