Sir injingo was born into a royal family, but not quite close knit. The ruler the angola resided in an area called the cabasa along with his wider family. Portugese diplomatic records from 15 60 described the ruler as having more than 70 children and 400 wives and concubines. And competition between rival factions was indeed intense.
