Is the CPI Number Hotter Than Expected?
If CPI comes in hotter than expected, it puts the Fed back on the front burner. Central banks are buying gold. The Chinese have been selling treasuries and buying gold. Silver showed strength over the last week, but that's sort of in no man's land. It's just really hard to remain bullish and get the match price action we've been seeing.
