You need at least a hundred thousand and probably more like a million or several million qubits to crack RSA. If you could reduce the number of physical qubits required from a few million to a few hundred thousand, that brings it closer. I'm fairly optimistic right now that the improvement in the precision of quantum computers is going to be a little bit more difficult.
