In a situation where the state really does discriminate against particular groups there can absolutely be a coalition of liberals and work progressives. That's why historically if we look back that's why a lot of liberals when they criticize feminism always make clear no problem whatsoever with first wave feminism. Once you have equality before the law and it's not just on paper it is it works away in actual practice I'd say the difference between a liberal and a progressivist that the liberal knows when to stop, now it's the time when it's a time to stop on those issues. Well it would have 30 years ago but I mean we now have a situation it's always worth mentioning"
