The Crisis of Connection
I think that's one of the most underappreciated issues and crises of our time. I've been trying to shout this at the top of the mountain for a long time. It's everything I say, by the way, preach to you today is really what I've learned from listening to young people since 1987. They're very clear that they want these close friendships that they need these close friendships or else they would feel lonely and isolated if they didn't have friendships in which you could share your deep secrets. And remember I'm going back to the same boys year after year after year.
