The First Officer's Control Column Exceeded 22 Pounds
Captain used over 22 pounds of force to pull the elevator to a three degree nose up position, which made the planes pitch stop at 73 degrees nose down. The airplane impacted a wet soybean field, partially inverted in a nose down left wing, low attitude, destroying the aerplane and killing everyone on board. So they hit really hard, yes, a very violent crash.
