No standardized reporting mechanism existed until the navy established one in march two thousand 19. Most of what they got came in only the last two years, because before that, people didn't know about the reporting system. All told, they looked at a hundred and forty four reports now spread over 17 years. That would be one report every one or two months. But if the majority of the hundred forty four came in in the last 2 years, which is what they said, then the navy and air force would have been generating three reports per month. And that's without the reporting em fully set up and without a lot of people knowing about it.
