i think it makes interesting predictions for how the features that are most predictive of discrimination could vary over different geographies or change over time. I have a family member, their cousins, were just moved from california to idaho. And they noticed, you know, while they still had their california plates under the car, that people would be rude to them on the road. They also noticed that there were bill boards up in the neighborhood that said, ke california out of idaho. It's exact exactly this thing. California becomes a marker for economic problem of driving up local housing costs for the people who already live there. and people read price out of their homes.
