How to Mentor a Manager

When I became a manager, I had no idea what it entailed. And there was so much to find out. People are different and they communicate differently. They're going to need totally different management styles from you. Not just along their career, but in different times of the week or the day. You have to be able to manage people's anxiety as they grow more senior. There's all these really exciting but challenging moments in people's career development that I think you have to manage for yourself in your own career and then help other people too.
