The death of John Smith bringing in Blair did lead to a sort of mood shift. After 95, where first you got the contest and then after it, it kind of went back to business as usual. Then I think it was just downhill all the way to the end. So on my streak to the other kind of big political achievement of that time, successfully negotiating a treaty posed by large chunks of your own party.
