Is There a Connection Between Mind and Brain?
H's opinion on consciousness: Is it completely reliant on the brain as a computing mechanism, and therefore replicable by artificial intelligence. Or is there something supernatural occurring? Nobody knows what consciousness is. And that's why i said earlier in the talk that this quest for artificial intelligence a g i some people are saying we don't need to be concerned about replicating consciousness. It doesn't matter. What we need is more and more intelligence. We don't need awareness. But of that means that we never replicate anything like a human being.
