Is There a Locality in the Universe?
It seems almost like knitting the tangent mundles and stuff like that in just the geometry of the spacetime kind of. It's not the tangent bundle. And so this seeming need that you need to be close to something to interact with it might just disappear if you go to very, very short distance scales. This is something which we just can't rule out based on everything we know right now because we don't actually know what this theory of quantum gravity looks like. So there are a number of reasons why the locality that we observe seems a little bit suspicious.
