Ironworking in Greece - The Early Iron Age

Ships from Greece never stopped going east to Anatolia and beyond just because the palaces were gone. The fact that ironworking technology arrived in Greece from the east speaks to one of the really important and often overlooked aspects of these so-called Greek Dark Ages. If there was migration out of Greece, which I think there was, it belongs more to the post-polacial period than to the era of upheaval and destruction we call the Bronze Age collapse.
