We Can't Predict the Future
We can't look back historically and say that anything, any of the current things that we have now are inevitable. We could be using zeppelins instead of ships for cargo transport or flying on rocketsd et cetera. But these were quirky choices that were made, sometimes by individual people, sometimes just because of contingency,. Because the intra structure wasn't quite there yet. There's nothing inevitable about our present, and therefore there’s nothing inevitable about the future.
