Jeff Yang: How did you come to this idea of the way you want to react is perfectly adequate? To me, speaks to some quite fundamental and deep humanism almost. So how did that emerge for you personally, that you came to this deeply human centric way of making objects? Lucas: It's been my own life experience. And I wasn't prepared to do anything when it came time to go to college other than to go to art school.
