The songs that have meant something to me are the ones that started with some kind of seed of, um, I guess revelation would be the best way to put it. And so I try to look for those and it's when I'm writing, I'm almost like fishing for that. It could start in a lot of ways. We could start by just, I don't always have that when we start the song, but the whole time it's like fishing for those little kind of, that's almost like the cornerstone of each, of each song," he said.
