What if the sounds you’ve been holding back are the doorway to a full body tantric orgasm? Tantra teacher Mare Simone, a Dakini and Advanced Tantra Educator, joins us for a juicy, practice forward conversation about somatic intimacy and what it really takes to drop out of your head and into your body. Mare tells the story of the night a woman’s roaring orgasm at a San Francisco Tantra party shook the floorboards and awakened her to the power of sound. She explains why breath, sound, movement and intention work together, and how giving pain or tension a voice with your partner can turn it into a moment of real intimacy. She guides you through a tantric breathwork practice that uses pelvic squeezes to draw energy up the spine, and opens up about rocking on crystal and Shiva lingam stones, cervical massage as a portal to the bliss body, her “Om Zone,” laughgasms, and her newest exploration, the coregasm. Then stay for The Dish, where Leah and Dr. Willow unpack Mare’s inner sanctuary practice and why pleasure for its own sake might be the most spiritual thing you do all week.
