I Think You Just Ruined Gregory of Nissa for Me
Gregory of Nissa defines faith for the western church as fiddays quire. He's really interested in trust and even though he admired platonism he thought of himself as a bit of a philosopher only bit of a Philosopher but not saturated with that way of thinking. The western church actually to the end of antiquity is still more interested in the trust aspect of faith which is i think quite unexpectedReally it's not what we have tended to think and now i might have to go back and do some more reading on Greg of Nissa.
