There were reports that the FDIC was discouraging some of the largest institutions from bidding on Silicon Valley Bank. Was that a mistake? And do we really need more than 4,000 banks in the US? David Frum: I agree with you that we don't need as many banks as we have. But again, I'm going to go on and talk about how important these local banks are.
