How to Detect Exoplanets With Low-Frequency Radio
If we're talking about, if we assume that these exoplanets have magnetic fields similar to the solar system, maybe some of them are closer to their stars than our planets are. We have a much more favorable contrast ratio for low-frequency radio. Stars are not anywhere near as bright at these very long wavelengths as they are at optical wavelengths. So telling the difference between what's coming from a planet versus what is stellar is definitely a challenge.
