I think going online is a very confusing place for Muslim women now, because we are being told things that contradict what has always been known in Islam. Traditional Islamic scholarship has always categorically mentioned that, you know, wearing the Humor is an obligation and then the outcome is your barber as well. But what you now have is people like Mona El Tahari who spoke about how she used to wear hijab and then how she unveiled. And so many women cite these resources as implications for why hijab is not mandatory. I think this is a greater problem of how Islam is spoken about in the public sphere,.
