The History of Police Tape

Two tree trimmer dudes find the bodies of Charles Vernon and his wife Louise on a dirt road near their home in Hendersonville, North Carolina. All three victims died by blunt force trauma to their heads. There's also evidence that Louise had been sexually assaulted with a foreign object prior to death. Of course, at the time, there were no rape kits or DNA testing available so authorities couldn't test for these materials.
