How Do You Keep the Onions From Getting Soggy?
You just lay them out in a fine thin layer. So it's just even so they all cook at the same rate, hopefully. In most ovens anyway, that really doesn't happen. Nothing cooks because your corners are usually hotter than the center of the oven. I move them around a little bit, redistribute them again. And what comes out? Does it come out like super crispy, like crackly crunchy crispy? Oh, yeah, it does.
