There is always a principle of indetermination present in everything, however large or small. Do concrete individuals exist? Of course they do. Are concrete individuals merely forms without matter? If we take form in the sense understood above, of course not. Aquinas is not a playtivist. There are no separate forms if by this we mean abstract universals that exist apart from singular entities. This man here is an individual of a given kind, having a natural form, subsisting in a given matter. That's matter and form. Let's turn in the last part of this lecture to substance and property.
