The Challenges of Solar Gravitational Lenses
Dr. Turch is looking for a one meter telescope deployed out to the solar gravitational lens between 500 and 1000 AU. If you could do that, then he figures you can get a one megapixel image of an extra solar planet. To get much over 100 kilometers per second is still pretty hard. But I think traveling at 21 AU per year would take you about 25 years to get out there.
