Brouder Is More Than Social Patriotism, Right?

Brouderism had broader aspect to it. It blurred the lines between oppressed and oppressor, exploited and exploiter. And using patriotism as a means to paper over that fact was ultimately very dangerous for communists. At the time that brouderism was defeated, there were still some who fought against it. Many faced serious reprisals from external criticism, largely coming from the french communist party.
